Investment Incentives Platform


The Western Balkans Six Investment Incentive Platform is the first of its kind in the region, providing detailed information on available incentives in each of the WB6. It is one of the key measures under the Regional Investment Area, which is part of the Common Regional Market Action Plan 2021-2024.

Developed with input from Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) across the region, the platform includes both financial and non-financial incentives, categorized by type, sector, and target audience.

It provides comprehensive information for investors looking to invest in the WB6. As an evolving resource, the platform will be updated every six months to ensure it remains current and relevant.

Brief description
Clients are eligible for financial support for the production of fresh cow's milk, dairy products and meat in the financial support program for the current year (as specified in the PROGRAM FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT2024)

Article 20 (1) The basic amount of financial support is the product of the amount of eligible investment costs and the percentage of financial support from paragraph (2) of this article. The amount of eligible costs for each individual investment project is determined based on invoices and proof of payment.

(2) The percentage of financial support for the measures from Article 15, paragraph (1) of this Support Program is:
a) for projects from points a), b), c), d), e), and f) - up to 50% of the eligible investment costs,
b) for projects from point g) - up to 35% of the eligible investment costs provided that the value of domestic raw materials in production is at least 33%, and in the case of milk processing, at least 66% (these percentage restrictions do not apply to the milling and baking industry, the beer industry, and processing capacities for which there is not a sufficient quantity of domestic raw materials),
c) for projects from point h) - up to 75% of the eligible investment costs.

(3) The basic amount of financial support for the measure from Article 16 of this Support Program is up to 100% of the eligible investment costs.

(4) The basic amount of financial support for the measures from Article 17 of this Support Program is 40% of the eligible investment costs in plant production, livestock, and fisheries, or 35% of the eligible investments in the food industry until the maximum amount of financial support from Article 22, paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) point a) of this Program is achieved.

(5) The basic amount of financial support for the measure from Article 18 of this Support Program is up to 75% of the eligible costs of obtaining certificates for organic production.

Eligibility criteria
description
The following crieteria must be met: Must be a legal entity, agricultural trade, or family farm (OPG) registered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Must have conducted agricultural or other production activities within the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as prescribed by the Support Program.
Must fulfill special criteria outlined in the Support Program and comply with applicable laws and regulations governing financial support within specified timeframes, as following: a) Production of fresh cow's milk - realized by the client
the right to financial support if he has a minimum of three dairy cows and produces a minimum of 500 liters, a maximum of 500,000 liters of milk per month per economy for market or processing,
b) Dairy cows in the milk purchase system - client (OPG) realizes the right to financial support for a minimum of three dairy cows during the year,
c) Production of beef - fattening domestic bulls cultivation or import - the client realizes the right to cash
support if he wins a minimum of 3 in one tournament beef from domestically bred calves, that is
a minimum of 10 steers from imported calves, and a maximum 600 fattened domestic steers and 400 fattened steers steers imported during the year for the market or for own use processing, d) Breeding of first-calf cows - breeding heifers, client (legal entity or trade) realizes the right to cash a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 200 support for cultivation heifers from their own herd during the year, provided that they serve for expanding your own herd or for the market,
e) Breeding of cattle in the cow-calf system - the client realizes the right to financial support for a minimum of 15, a maximum of 600 cows in the ongoing cow-calf system
